While visiting family in Europe earlier this summer, I drove a 6-speed manual transmission Seat with a similar VW powerplant as this Jeep Liberty. My impression as a driver was that of a strong little engine with excellent fuel economy.

I was impressed with it’s smooth and quiet operation, and enjoyed saving money while opting to fill the tank with cheaper bio-diesel available at select filling stations along the way. I only wish that this powerpalnt was available in a small pickup truck here in America.
