FuelClinic.com will be Offline for the Weekend, Dec 16th through 18th
I’ll be moving FuelClinic.com to a new server over the weekend, and plan to have the domain redirect to the blog (this page) during this outage. Normally a move like this can be done seamlessly in an hour or so. We need to stop access to the site so we can move the database intact without losing data. I’m also going to have to make some code modifications due to differences between the server environments, so I’m giving myself some extra time.
There is a slight chance the outage will go longer, and if so, I will keep you updated via this blog. The blog should remain online and available during this move.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you over the weekend. We’ll be back online shortly.

Update: The bulk of the move is complete. Database is moved, and application is up and running for the most part. Some regression testing tomorrow, and I’ll turn the lights back on Sunday or Monday.
Running on a new platform, off Windows w/ ColdFusion 8 – on to Linux with Railo CFMX engine… and it’s insanely faster.
Learn more about Railo – http://www.getrailo.org/
Clean output, in 1 or 2 ms… heavy database pages – 13 ms. There are some slight differences in code due to new environment, will get those fixed tomorrow.
Just noticed EcoDrivingUSA no longer exists, their icon is broken, and their site is down. Guess I need to move another partner link into that spot…
Made the code changes this morning, and it seems to be working correctly. Just need to get DNS reouted, and we should be back online.
The site should be back online in most parts of the world. If you still cant reach it, please flush your DNS cache and hopefully that will fix the problem.
